Never thought about being at the level of the people on a donkey or needing help to get on. Beautiful images. And to realize he is taking delight in the spontaneous praise of the people when his normal m.o. was to be as low key as possible. God the Son delighting in the praises of His people. Breathtaking when you think about it.

I picture the sun shining & expectations of joy. A far way from the grim results of this week. It is like every day when you awake smiling at the prospects of the day but before the day ends something unimaginable happens. It could be good or not. I have to remind myself that what happened to Jesus was God’s plan because the events are too sad. Thank you for this opportunity to share my feelings.
